Soft-bodied insects, including aphids, mealybugs, spider mites, whitefly, soft brown scale, psyllids, rose or pear slugs, and elm leaf miner can quickly do a lot of damage to your plants. Once sprayed, the potassium salts in Safer’s Insecticidal Soap weaken the insets’ waxy protective outer shell, causing them to dehydrate and die. This spray does not target beneficial insects such as ladybugs, praying mantises, and others when used as directed. When problem insects strike in your garden, having a solution that’s simple is the way to go. Safer’s Insecticidal Soap comes in a convenient ready-to-use solution to make eliminating insects easy. Simply spray your plants at the first sign of insect damage and apply every 7-10 days when insects are present. Use Safer’s Insecticidal Soap on houseplants, ornamental foliage, flowering plants, and fruit and vegetable plants. It’s important to thoroughly cover all plant surfaces (including the bottom of the leaves) and to continue to spray the solution to the point that it begins to drip off the plant.
